I was diagnosed with EDS by a geneticist in 1999 after seven years of looking for answers. I have painful frequent dislocations of all joints and my skin is very fragile and tears and bruises very easily. I have so many ugly scars it’s hard for people to notice anything else. It also takes twice as long for my wounds bruises and sickness to get better or heal. I’m just struggling without insurance right now and trying to get my ssi but repeatedly denied help. I’m drowning and my mental health has taken a nose dive (self harming) but I’m working with the right professionals to get that taken care of!!! But it’s a struggle to buy the meds they want me on and keep up with bills and I just need a little help. Anything at all helps so much!!!
