Hi! I am Ciera Lipper, a freshman at The Ohio State University, and I am taking part in an education abroad program this winter break as I travel to Nicaragua. The cost is a bit daunting, but study abroad is a great way to engage with environmental and agricultural issues from a new perspective, as well as build my resume for graduate school. The competitiveness of veterinary school can be countered by programs such as study abroad, and will help to increase my chances of success. With this fundraiser, I hope to be able to raise enough money to finance my trip to Nicaragua so I can avoid incurring debt. Thank you so much for your support!
