Elder Abuse Fundraiser
A woman was arrested after allegedly committing check fraud against a retired veteran with dementia. Bernadette Medeiros was charged with five counts of larceny from an elderly/disabled person over 60 years of age.
This campaign is aimed at raising pubic awareness of elderly victimization as well as an attempt to raise funds to aid in recovering the retired, veteran victim's monetary loses.
