Hello. Ellie desperately needs your help to be able to walk again, to be able to run again, to be able to go for car rides, to be pain free , to smile again showing her cute little teeth again and to be the happy dog she used to be before this happened .

Ellie is in dire straits and needs right TPLO surgery which “needs to be done sooner rather than later” before infection settles in the meniscus which will make surgery cost even more .” If it gets to the infection point there’s no guarantee Ellie will ever be walking, she might not ever be that happy pain free dog again

Ellie is 9 years old and I got her as a rescue back in 2016 . She is a Puerto Rican SATO dog. Anyway, she is my world, my best friend, she’s a happy dog , always wagging her tail , super friendly with family and other dogs. She loves. loves, loves running through the snow and making multiple snow angels :)

Ellie right now is struggling to walk about 5 min or so to do bathroom activities outside. - She lays on a big dog bed -I bring her water and her food - She will be going out later for a few minutes and that’s it - She’s on meloxicam and some gabapentin to supposedly help with pain but it’s obvious and painstakingly obvious that she’s miserable, sad and in agony- It’s breaking my heart , the families heart also.
