Angel and Stephanie Narazio met as students at Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita. They later married and their family grew from two to four with the birth of their daughter, Ellie, and their son Finley. In the spring of 2023, they received the devastating news that their 4-year-old daughter, Ellie, had a rare, aggressive form of brain cancer. Ellie passed away in March 2024, 10 months after her diagnosis. 

The Nazarios are both teachers at Golden Valley High School, their alma mater. Stephanie is the Choir Director and Angel is the Band Director. Despite the debilitating news of Ellie's diagnosis, they channeled their pain into gratitude and love. The Nazarios stayed true to their sweet family and their GV family. While they made every wish of Ellie's come true before her passing, along with the help of the Michael Houghlin Foundation and the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Nazarios remained dedicated to their students, to Golden Valley High School and the community as much and as best as they could. 

As they grieve the passing of their sweet daughter, we want to return the love and gratitude they have poured out on the students of GV, the Staff, and their community. We have set up this fundraiser to support the Nazarios during this difficult time.
