Hi, I hate that I have had to create this crowdfund page, but I am in need of genuine assistance. I’m a black and disabled person who's been through a lot, like most. I have dealt with being laid off due to budget constraints and have been doing very part time and temporary roles as a nanny. My car broke down at the end of March, right after my birthday, and I got severely sick. Unfortunately 2 weeks ago (first week of May), I was on an hour commute back home in my rental car after nannying 10 hours straight for a family with 2 toddlers, when a cat jumped in the road and I swerved to avoid it. At that moment, I didn't know if it was an animal, child, or person, so I swerved and hit a telephone pole. I have a few minor injuries that I still have to get more in depth scans on that I will have to pay out of pocket for. I also now have to pay out of pocket for damages to the vehicle as well. I have been without a vehicle and lost work opportunities because of lack of transportation. I am also very behind on many major bills.

Update 7/30:

I took a break from pushing my crowdfund because I found a great job position including relocation. I had a paid trial set up to start 7/30 and was supposed to begin the position a few weeks later. I knew I would still be behind, however, I new income would be coming in, while still doing temporary work until it started, I could eventually pay my past due bills. Unfortunately, I lost the opportunity days ago due to racism and disregard for my safety. I was subjected to the parent using the full "n word" via FaceTime call and her trying to place me in unsafe accomodations during the trial. All of this while still behind on bills with a broken down car.
