Hi I’m in recovery and before I went to rehab I bought a car and now the finance company is suing me. I don’t have any body to ask. I have a job and have been clean for 2 years. The finance company wants $2500 to settle debt by Sept 10. Or they are getting court order to garnish my wages for full amount owed. I work at in fast food and don’t make much at all. I work hard and have busted my tail to get to back to being a better person. I won't have enough money to pay bills or pay rent if they start taking money from my check. So I’m trying anything I can to get some help. I just found out about legal help and have signed up, but I am probably too late to file a response to the summons. This might not be a lot to some but it is way more than I have. Thank you to anyone who is willing to help me.
