Emergency Help for Tracy
Life has a way of testing us, and for Tracy Cassidy, that test has been overwhelming. From losing work hours to battling a serious health condition, Tracy’s dream of owning a home is now at risk. Tracy urgently needs your help to stay afloat and get back on track.
My name is Tracy Cassidy, and I’ve always dreamed of owning my own home. In 2021, that dream came true. For almost two decades, I've worked hard as a Veterinary Technician, caring for sick and injured animals, whether they were pets or wildlife. I dedicated my life to helping those who can’t speak for themselves, providing love and compassion when they need it the most.
But over the past few months, everything started to unravel. I transitioned to a new job, and as a result, I lost hours, making it harder to pay my bills. Then, about a month ago, my only vehicle broke down on the side of the freeway, leaving me stranded in the cold for hours because I couldn’t afford a tow truck. My vehicle is still at the shop, needing expensive engine repairs, and I can’t afford either the diagnostics or the repairs.
To make matters worse, I was rushed to the emergency room two weeks ago and diagnosed with a heart block. My blood pressure remains high, most likely due to the ongoing stress, and my ability to work and stay financially stable is becoming increasingly difficult.
I’ve fallen behind on bills, and I’m at risk of losing the home I fought so hard to own. The mortgage assistance programs in my state are closed, and local charities are overwhelmed with requests. I have no family and nowhere to turn if I lose my home — I will be homeless.
I’m raising $10,000 to cover my urgent expenses, including vehicle repairs, medical bills, and to catch up on overdue bills to prevent losing my home. Every dollar will go directly toward ensuring that I can continue to work, get my health under control, and keep a roof over my head.
This is a critical time, and I can’t do it alone. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to me. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing my story with others who may be able to help. Your generosity will help me overcome this difficult chapter and continue doing the work I love.
