Emergency Home Repair
Hi, my name is Debbie Lusk. I am 60 years old married and a mother to 9 adopted children some with special needs, all through the Foster System. I am a stay at home (disabled) mom and my husband works. We have 7 children living at home ages range from 5 to 19. We are low income. May 14th we discovered severe water damage to the main bathroom. When we removed the toilet and a few tiles we found that the entire section of floor from the toilet to the shower was wet and rotten clear to the subfloor and up under the bathtub. The picture above doesnt even show the entire floor. We do not have any funds to make repairs. So our bathroom sits with the floor exposed, rotten and unusable. This has left us with a Health and Safety Hazzard. That leaves us with 1 bathroom for all 7 of my children and husband. I'm totally beside myself trying to find assistance. Almost all the programs I can find require to be 62 years even though we qualify as low income. We have fostered children for 19 years and now we find ourselves desperate for help. Please, if you can find it in your heart, my family is in desperate need of help
