Emergency Moving Expenses
Hi, my name is JJ and I am trying to raise money for emergency moving expenses for me and my family. We are in a critical living situation and have to move by Nov the 2nd because the couple we have been living with the past year haven't been paying the rent. I am reaching out for help so we are not homeless and out in the cold. We don't even have a car to stay in from the cold and get warm. These unexpected expenses has left us with limited resources. We have been renting the basement from some friends for a little over a year. Then about a week ago they tell us the landlord put a 30 day eviction notice on the door because the rent is 3 mos behind. We thought they were paying it but come to find out this is not the 1st time this has happened. Since finding this out my anxiety has been out of control and I haven't had a full night's sleep. We have been calling different programs for assistance and filling out rental applications. We have been put on the waiting list for alot of places. There is a trailer that is available and it is in our price range and it was just recently cleaned out and is ready to rent. She wants a deposit and 1st months rent but we would need help to be able to do that. Any donations you could help with would be used for:
1. 1st months rent and deposit
2. Moving supplies
3. Utility deposit
4. Transportation costs for any driving around. related to moving
5. Basic necessities (food)
This move is the 1st step towards peace and stability in our family once again. Instead of living with other people we will be in our own home. Where we know the bills get paid.
Your donation, no matter the size, will not only provide us a safe place to live but will also give us the chance to rebuild and move forward. We are incredibly grateful for any help you can offer. If you are unable to donate you can still help by sharing our story to your friends and family.
Thank you for your time, compassion, and support.
I will post any updates
