Hi,

My name is David, and I’m facing a true medical emergency regarding my teeth. Years of severe grinding have worn them down to the nerve. I have had four infections and repeated swelling in the past two years. Several teeth are worn so low they are at the gumline, and four are below it. The nerve pain is constant, sharp, and overwhelming. Eating and drinking hurts. Even breathing cold air sends shocks through my mouth. Chewing (mastication) is extremely difficult. Some foods I cannot chew all the way and must discard. Sleeping is terrifyingly dangerous. My teeth are now so jagged that I tear through my mouth guard at night while grinding and often wake up having swallowed fragments of rubber and plastic.

Without intervention, I am at high risk of periodontitis. This can lead to heart disease, stroke or pneumonia.

I desperately require emergency dental intervention.

I want to work, but the condition and appearance of my teeth make it nearly impossible. This can be quite embarrassing as well. I am also currently in a skilled nursing facility recovering from a herniated thoracic disc, and I am facing what may become my eighth spinal fusion.

I'm doing everything I can to rebuild my life, but right now, I am unable to do it alone.
