After years of fighting for the Safety And stability of my two younger sons comma they were recently removed From an abusive environment and placed in my care full time. I'm incredibly grateful to have them with me yet the change happened suddenly and I'm now facing an urgent challenge I was not financially prepared for.

In March, I had to close my kava/smoothie bar that I had built due to increased difficultes with the boys' wellbeing. I have had them alone since April and now I am currently driving more than 4 hours each day so my boys remain in the trilingual magnet school that it took 2 years to get them into. Because I live just outside the county where the cases are, I do not qualify for assistance that would normally be available to the families in these situations.

I have till the end of October to secure housing closer to the school that meets the state's requirements, if I cannot, there is a real possibility my voice can be play some Foster care. I'm trying to raise $15,000 to get a relocated and established a safe stable home so I rebuilt my income.

In Miami near the school rent is around $3,000 a month for a two bedroom and they require 3 months to move in in most cases bringing total moving costs to around $10-12k. I will need to cover utilities and transportation until I can get back to work.
