Hi, my name is Naki.

On Christmas, my father suffered a catastrophic stroke. Since that day, my siblings and I have been rotating around-the-clock care and hospital visits to help make critical medical decisions on his behalf. A few days after Christmas, I lost my job due to the amount of time I needed to be at the hospital every day.

My father is now in a long-term care facility, and our family continues to be present daily to support him and ensure he receives the care he needs.

During this already difficult time, my car broke down and requires approximately $2,000 in repairs, leaving me without reliable transportation to the hospital. My bank account is currently overdrawn, my rent and household bills are coming due, and I am also helping maintain my father’s life insurance payments.

I am asking for assistance to help me stay afloat while caring for my family during this medical crisis. Any contribution—large or small—will go directly toward transportation, housing, utilities, and other essential living expenses.
