Emma's surgery

Jianna's rescued cat Emma is 11 years old. Jianna found her abandoned when she was 3 weeks old and very small at 4 Oz. We nurtured her and she grew. Emma is a very picky cat. She's loving when she wants to be and stingy with her affection to all but Jianna.

In October we found a small growth on her belly, we watched it very closely and found it to grow very quickly. We were able to get her to a vet the beginning of December who unfortunately didn't tell us they couldn't perform the needed surgery but they were able to do x-rays and they found that Emma was over all very healthy except this mysterious sudden growth.

Jianna has been working hard to put money back for a car. She has saved a bit but now these funds have been depleted for the vet bills already incurred by Emma's need.

Jianna has tried several avenues in other charity organizations to get help.

She first tried for a Care Credit card but was declined on basis of not enough credit and time on her job.

The Bummer Fund declined her because we live about 2 miles out of their covered area (Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties are covered. We live just outside in Carroll and even share a Columbiana County zip code)

Freddie's Friends a national fund declined her because the vet couldn't guarantee that the tumor/mass wouldn't regrow once removed.

We need to turn to you now, our friends and family for help for Emma. Jianna and I unfortunately do not have the money to help Emma like we want to. The vet says that this surgery will give Emma and Jianna a few more years together at least. The biopsy after the surgery will tell us more and what we can expect going forward. The surgery needs to be done quickly because Emma has resorted to licking the mass on her belly which in turn has started to become infected. She fortunately leaves the one under her armpit alone.

We ask you if you could please help out any way you can as much as you can for my girls. We all know how we love our pets like a member of the family. This past year has been horrible for many of us and full of loss.

We thank you very much for your time for considering helping us out. Bless you all in this coming year. ❤
