Due to ongoing massive layoffs of technical managers especially older, I have struggled to find meaningful work, which has worsened my depression, leading to homelessness and just immense heartache from endless losses.

Once full of life, gardening, taking care of animals, cooking, reading, writing, doing my part to heal and foster goodness;

... bad decisions and misfortunes, often aggravated by careless bad habits, brought me to the bottom of the pit.

But keeping my faith, I am working on my recovery, especially building mental strength and working on my sobriety in a caring Adult Rehab center where I currently reside.

I want to stand on my feet and be the better man I used to be.

Intending to do a mix of DoorDash, short-term jobs, then studying for and finding a better-paying job.

I need help to buy a used car and pay some rent until I have saved enough. I have a license and no driving issues, nor any criminal records with a clear background.

I have Medicaid presently, but I do have some past bills.

Not wanting to be thought of as just a taker, I wish to give back when times get better.
