We have been going to Sunset Beach for New Years Day for almost 50 years.

If anyone deserves their own memorial picnic table at Sunset Beach, it is the English gang. So let's buy one for them! (I am sure the no-alcohol rule wouldn't apply there...)

The Tribute Tables program, a collaboration between Friends and California State Parks, provides an opportunity to pay tribute to a loved one, celebrate a milestone or demonstrate community support. Made of solid redwood, our custom-engraved picnic tables will provide a place of respite for you and other park visitors.

A limited number of Tribute Tables are available at our local state parks and beaches, including campgrounds, picnic areas and more. The minimum donation for a Tribute Table is $2,500. Proceeds from the program support our local state parks and beaches.

The inscription: We are only allowed 30 characters total. Hearts take up a little more space, but lots less than "LOVE" or "CHEERS". So, I am proposing:

ON NEW YEARS DAY

 THE ENGLISH GANG  

I have asked that the table be located under the structure or nearby and will post the response from the Park Service in the comments. As soon as we reach $2500, I will request the table and hope we can get it installed by Jan 1, 2026. (Dependent on three orders received before they install).

Please help me reach $2500 and get us a fitting tribute table for the crab and sherry soup generation!
