Today I would like you to meet Enzo! A miracle goat who needs your help. Enzo is a special needs goat that was rescued from a milk and meat farm at just 3 weeks old. He was not able to walk when Flavianne took him home. She fell in love with him and brought him to the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine asap.She was told to euthanize him as his bones were riddled with infection. That wouldn’t do for Flavianne, his new mama. She took him to Perdue University for a second opinion.There she was told his neck was broken and he was paralyzed.

Flavianne knew she had to help him herself and began full time physical therapy, water therapy at her home. Then one day there was a miracle and after three weeks of therapy he began moving his legs! Much to the veterinarians surprise his scans no longer revealed a broken neck! But in order to keep him alive his hind legs needed to be amputated. After a radical surgery because of a lot of infection, Enzo remained hospitalized for 4 weeks.

Enzo showed his true strength and willpower and came home from the hospital. Granted he had to drag his hind end behind him to get around and after refusing a custom made cart,he just got used to two front legs dragging his bum behind him.

A cushy carpeted space was made for him in the house so he was always around the family who loved him. He was a very happy boy.We couldn’t pad his bum because goats eat everything!

Now being 3 years old, he has developed a fluid filled mass on his bum. Diagnosed as herniated intestines, surgery will cost $3000-5000.Flavianne is not going to lose her miracle goat and will go forward with the surgery. Surgery is risky and expensive but a pet becomes the focus of your life just like a dog, cat or hamster. Doctors say without the surgery, he will die.

After being forced off her property, having to move, then get diagnosed with a brain disorder, we hope you will reach out and help us.
