Hi. I'm Joe. I've suffered from epilepsy my entire life. A seizure, for many of us with epilepsy, is scary and painful. need help finishing the startup of a 501c3 called Epileptek. I have an EIN, but not the final approval from the IRS. Not yet. 

The purpose of this charity is to help make coming out of a seizure a little less scary for people. And give them free access! There are tons of apps to track and predict seizures, but nothing for the worst part; coming out of the seizure. 

When a lot of us come out of seizures we fall in and out of consciousness, we are unable to help ourselves feel better, we are injured and we are incoherent for up to 2 hours. We can't ask for help because we aren't capable of forming those thoughts completely. We panic because no one is there and we need someone but can't reach out. We know we need assistance but can't ask for it. It's a horrible feeling and can be traumatic if you injured yourself. 

I started a 501c3 to raise money for an app that will help us when we're helpless. And they will have free access! An app on our phone or watch which we can access immediate following a seizure. It will provide comfort and aid to the victim. The app will allow a person to program music, a recording from a loved one saying it's okay and explaining what's happening, maybe a photo that eases their suffering, a phone call to a loved one, or anything else they think is comforting at that time. All FOR FREE!

I filed everything for the 501c3 and am awaiting approval. But I need a website and software. I need to hire developers to begin the process. Your support could potentially help millions, but I need to get to the next step. Please help me provide comfort to victims of a horrible disability. Help me help us.
