Help Me Start Over

I never imagined I would be in a place where I’d have to ask strangers for help, but I’m trying to find the courage and means to leave a toxic and abusive relationship and start over.

I've not got much family to go to & the few I do are unable to help. Not many friends either, since the majority of the last 4 years I've spent completely alone.

I’ve spent a long time putting other people’s needs before my own, and I’m finally trying to choose a safer, healthier life for myself. Leaving isn’t as simple as just walking out when you don’t have the financial means to start somewhere else.

I’m asking for help with the costs of getting out and getting back on my feet—things like a safe place to stay, transportation, basic necessities, and getting established on my own.

I know everyone has their own struggles, and I’m not expecting anyone to carry this burden for me. But if you’re able to help, even a few dollars could bring me one step closer to being free and starting over.
