Dear kind friends,

My heart is heavy as I write to you today. last month a fire swept through our beloved home, taking with it the memories and possessions that made our house a home. In a matter of minutes, the flames spread, and we were forced to leave everything behind.

Watching our home burn, I felt a profound sense of loss and helplessness. The fire had taken not just our things but also the security and comfort that our home gave to us. My husband, Steven and I have been working tirelessly to rebuild, but the financial burden is just too much. The house was given to me by my mother who passed and the wiring was outdated. our insurance policy most likely won't cover much and the cost of repairs and replacing our entire lives is more than we can handle on our own.

My daughter is struggling to understand what happened. She often asks about her toys and the drawings she left behind. It breaks my heart to see her so confused and heartbroken and I know that she needs the stability of a home to heal. Our older son is trying to be strong, but I can see the worry in his eyes. They both deserve a safe and loving environment to grow up in, and we are determined to give them that.

We have set up this campaign to help us cover the costs of repairs and to hopefully get just a little help with all we have lost.
