EVICTION SEPT 15TH

Hello,

I am in a major pickle. I lost my job last year. It was very lucrative and I moved into my own apartment finally after being at home. I had the requisite six months worth of rent and expenses saved up. I thought I was set and ready to start my journey on my own.

Then I lost my job. I applied for work for months and basically depleted my savings and maxxed out my credit card to afford my rent and normal expenses.

I did everything I could think of to lower my general expenses: I stopped eating out, I got cheaper car insurance, got cheaper internet, and a cheaper phone bill. I canceled all my unnecessary subscriptions to the streamers and to my newspapers. I barely drove to avoid paying for gas. I never turn on the air conditioner. I have gotten my weekly food expenses down to $25 a week.

But it still wasn't enough. I got another full time job late last year but this one pays me half of what I was getting before. After work, I would drive for Lyft and do Shipt orders. I worked 13/14 hour days 6 days a week for a month to keep up and try to get a little ahead. I knew it wasn't sustainable but I was steadily applying to jobs that would pay more thinking I could get something, that it would end soon but I kept getting rejections or no responses at all.

I refreshed my resume and then applied to a bunch of new jobs that would pay me more and I have lucked out and got two interviews lined up. But even if I get one of those jobs, they wouldn't start in time to keep me in my home.

I've have been running on fumes and it's finally come to a head. I cannot afford my rent. Time is up. I will be evicted if I cannot pay by Monday, Sept 15th.

I am extremely depressed. I'm tired. I'm losing my hair. I've lost 30 pounds in the last couple of months. My refrigerator is near empty. The last two days I've eaten crackers and water.

I need help. I am extremely embarrassed to ask for help like this but here we are. I cannot get evicted. I am a person with a full time job who is down on my luck.

Please help me. I need $1000 to stay in my apartment. I will get another job and work harder but in the short term, I just need some money now so that I'm not homeless.

I've attached an image of my notice to pay rent or surrender possession.
