Summertime can be a dangerous time for young people. Once they are out of school, they are less supervised and sometimes more bored, sometimes more likely to get involved in risk-taking that is normative for this age group but can have long-term, limiting consequences.

SFY Educates Youth with Unique Programming

SFY's Juvenile Justice Jeopardy™ teaches youth to consider the situations they're in, to avoid engaging in risky behaviors, as well as offers them strategies to avoid escalating minor incidents—with peers and police.

SFY has played JJJ with thousands of youth across the U.S.

SFY and the many game leaders we have trained, have played Jeopardy with youth across the U.S. And we've had impacts!

On average, 80% of youth who played reported that 50-75% of the game's information is new to them;

Another 10% of youth report that 100% of the game's information was new to them;

About 90% of youth completing evaluations asking who else should play this game say, "Everyone."

This demonstrates the tremendous need—and hunger—for accurate information about big questions many youth have about how to interact with police, peers, and the potential legal consequences of their conduct.
