Facing eviction... HELP!
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out to you in a moment of absolute emergency. I am a mother fighting with
everything I have to keep a roof over my head and protect my 14-year-old daughter, who is
severely immunocompromised.
Our world shattered last August when my husband passed away from Stage 4 adrenal cancer.
We were left reeling from the emotional and financial toll of his battle. Then, in February, the
crisis deepened when I lost my job of 10 years due to sudden layoffs.
Despite searching for work and reaching out to local agencies for emergency rental assistance,
the severe lack of available community funding has left us unprotected. An eviction judgment
has been passed, a writ of restitution has been filed at the Country Meadows Justice Court, and
we face the immediate threat of being displaced by the constable.
Because of my daughter's medical vulnerability, being forced into a shelter or an unsheltered
environment poses a direct, life-threatening risk to her health. She cannot be exposed to public
facilities without severe medical consequences.
Our landlord has been incredibly patient and understanding, but the legal clock has run out. We
need to raise funds immediately to pay off the rent arrears and secure our housing while I
finalize expedited county medical and emergency rehousing assistance.
Where the Funds Will Go:
● Past-Due Rent & Legal Fees: To pay our landlord directly and legally stop the eviction
writ.
● Immediate Utilities & Medical Supplies: To ensure my daughter's continuous care and
basic necessities remain stable this month.
Every single dollar raised goes directly toward preventing a medically fragile child from losing
her home. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our link with your network. Your
kindness and shares are a lifeline for my daughter and me during the darkest chapter of our
lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
