Urgent Fundraiser Request: Facing Eviction – Please Help!

My rent is due by April 3rd, and if I cannot pay, eviction proceedings will begin on April 5th. I am currently on a month-to-month lease and have no safety net. 

I never imagined I would be in this position, but I am reaching out for help because I have nowhere else to turn. Over two years ago, I was laid off from a tech company, and despite my ongoing efforts, I have been unable to secure another job. To get by, I have exhausted my meager retirement savings, maxed out my credit cards, and done everything I can to stay afloat.

I recently turned 62 and have made the difficult decision to apply for early retirement. However, my benefits won’t begin for at least six weeks. I have also applied for a paid 3-month training opportunity that will begin in the next few weeks, but I am in immediate financial distress.

I’m looking to cover my rent and my past-due bills. Any amount you can contribute would make a tremendous difference.
