Fall Fundraiser 2022
The Lotus Sanctuary is a nonprofit that serves PTSD & Trauma Survivors and meets in Covington KY. We have online support forums called "The Group Gender Inclusive" and "The Group Womxn." In 2023 we will resume our monthly Healing Share, sponsor clients to attend trauma-informed care Therapies and start a new Music Therapy Program. This year the purpose of our Fundraiser is to generate funds for operations, trainings and new programs.
The Lotus Sanctuary has partnered with Hear the Hope, a Cincinnati nonprofit that features an original song by a local Artist each month to support a different nonprofit in the area. Kim Belew, a local PTSD & Trauma Survivor, graciously offered a song she wrote called Grace available for download for $5.00 at this link: https://www.hearthehope.org/archives/grace-featuring-kim-belew/

In-Person Event in the Spring: The Lotus Sanctuary PTSD Survivors and Veteran's Open Mic Night Details announced soon!
Lotus Sanctuary History and Mission Statement: Our first free Healing Share for PTSD & Trauma Survivors was on May 23rd, 2019, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington KY. We met for several months increasing numbers each month until we had to shut down with the pandemic. We are ready to get back on track and resume fully in January of 2023. Our future plan is to grow into an independent Holistic PDSD & Trauma Support Center that will help people living with PTSD heal and navigate life. Until that time we have partnered with several agencies and will be having programming at their facilities.
Trauma has lasting effects that keep Survivors in unhealthy patterns and hinder fulfilling life potential. Our mission statement: The Lotus Sanctuary seeks to assist PTSD and Trauma Survivors to navigate life and heal through Trauma-Informed Care Therapies, Holistic Healing, and Life Coaching, so they can overcome living in trauma response patterns and lead happier and more productive lives.
Many thanks to Toby and CJ at Hear the Hope, Kim Belew, and Trinity Episcopal Church (Covington KY), Jay Banks of Native on the Levee (Tee Shirts)
