About my family: My family of 3 consists of myself, my son Nikolas who is 17 and my daughter Genevieve who is 26. My daughter stays here and helps me with the care of her brother, the house and the bills. Her and I have both been employed at the same company for 10 years but all of that is changing because the company is doing major layoffs and cutbacks.

Our Situation and Why we need help: Since the cutbacks at work our paychecks have decreased significantly which has caused us needing new employment asap. There are more cutbacks coming and all of this came without warning so now we cannot prepare in time to not fall behind. With my childrens's dad being killed fairly recently we no longer have him or his income to fall on. He left us with no insurance payouts and expenses that we did not know we would have to cover due to his death. My son is autistic, and has many health conditions that require frequent trips to Denver Children's to see specialists and for surgeries, which is 4 hrs away one way. Each trip is always overnight so there are hotel, gas and food costs and I am making these trips every 3-4 month and these will continue for a couple more years. To make matters even harder, my car needed brakes, tires and now work on the transmission so now I have to get a rental car for each Denver trip.

What will the money cover: After buying tires and brakes my daughter has an outstanding balance of $1,000. We are one month behind on our car payment because our paychecks have been cut and are wanting to make sure our rent will get paid, as well as basic living expenses, gas to get my son around and the part for the transmission so we do not have to get a rental each time we go to Denver. Basically a months worth of funding until we get new jobs and acquire steady paychecks again. This is my first time asking for help like this and I am very thankful for any that help us. With so many dishonest people in the world I know that many of these platforms are questioned so I can provide any proof needed to back up my claims and story.
