Hi, my name is Rachel LaRocco. I have a wonderful husband & 5 beautiful children, 3 of whom are still living at home. The past few years, my body has slowly been falling apart. I have osteoarthritis, and due to my spine compressing on itself, I had to have 3 metal plates and 3 screws put into my spine in my neck to stop my spine from collapsing on itself. That surgery was on 2-15-24. Now my lower spine is starting to do the same thing. I am currently in my 3rd round of physical therapy trying to avoid surgery again. On top of that, I have a really bad left knee that has almost no more cartilage left, which makes walking hard and damn near impossible to take long walks, which I used to love to do with my family. Due to all this, I currently cannot work. I am working with a really great lawyer to try and get temporary disability to help with our bills. The worst part is my husband lost his job about a month ago, and it's been rough, really, really rough. He has two job interviews next week. They seem really promising. We are keeping our fingers crossed but we are already a month behind on our bills. Even if he gets one of these jobs, which I have no doubt he will, we still won't get any money coming in for at least a month, maybe longer. We are not asking for a lot. Just a little help till we are able to get back on our feet. The children are the ones who are suffering during all this, and that has to be the hardest part of all this. Please, anything you can do.
