Family homeless due to fire
We have just learned that one of our agency friends, Oscar Degante - a colleague and former employee of our agency, Splash - in New York; last week his apartment caught fire and unfortunately his wife suffered burns as a result. Thankfully, she is making a recovery now and Oscar and his kids are okay. However, they now have no home. The Red Cross is trying to help them and with assistance from family and friends they have been managing to get by. We've set up this social sharing fundraising site, to see if there are people in our broader network that might be able to help Oscar and his family out in any way? He is still unemployed and even a little financial help from any source could come in handy.
