Hi I am a mom with degenerative disk desiese. My son Killian is 7. He's been diagnosed with high functioning autism, odd, adhd, sensory issues. Last February my boyfriend had a car accident. He wrecked on his way to work. He was driving a 2016 Cadillac CTS AWD going 12mph on a slick road. He slid across the road in to the gully and up out of the gully into a tree. He fractured everything in his face ( his face broke the windshield as the air bags never deployed). Amazingly we were blessed that everything in his face reset it self after the break and it all went back into place perfectly. After that we found an 800$ 1999 new beetle with tax return and we have been driving that since. We have replaced the clutch and put 2 batteries in this thing. However it still needs glow plugs because it's a diesel it also takes about a half hr to warm up. Then after all that happened I found out I am going to need surgery due to working on a farm my whole life and the degenerative disks pinching my sciatic nerve. I'm in the process of getting SSI but it takes a while to hear back from them. My family doesn't really talk to me because my mother is for lack of better words crazy. She is currently in a homeless shelter because no one wants to be around someone who just treats you nasty to do it. I can't bring her here because of the trauma I went through as a kid, I don't want my son going through that ( I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder at age 6 with the MRI). I really need to be able to find a reliable vehicle to take my son and my self to appointments. Rent is paid. I'm figuring bills out the best I can at this time with child support but things are tight with not being able to work due to my back. I have been carrying the bills but I'm struggling mentally alot. We pay rent every month and have been here for 3 years. I have pushed my self since February, even with my back issues, to go out and mow people's yard, weed flower beds, clean people's houses, anything they need... I've tried working for the things we needed this past year despite the issues I've had including having gastrointestinal issues. I get discouraged though because I see these people getting help all around me and honestly they don't even need it, but here I've been trying to literally break my self to figure things out and no one has offered a helping hand. Were not drug addicts well even take a drug test. Just please Anything is greatly appreciated. Even if it's just a merry christmas.
