Family Needs Help To Puchase Shelter On Wheels: Road To Stability

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you all for help.

  Over the past few years, my family & I have been battling constant automobile issues that have worsened over time. We have endured countless breakdowns, leaving us stranded for weeks & months in our van. Despite the support of friends & family, our vans' engine has finally given out, & is beyond repair, along with several other major issues.

  The van is both, our shelter, & our transportation, & we are in dire need of a replacement, as we have currently been broke down almost 3 months. 

  We have been, & are, on housing lists, however, unfortunately, my income on SSI has not qualified us.     

  We are extremely thankful for our van, however, my last two vans were over 10 yrs old, & almost immediately began having unending problems, with thousands invested in them for repairs.

  I am currently looking for a 5-7 yr old van, possibly a Toyota Sienna, as known for least amount of problems, great gas mileage, & parts availability, & with the lowest mileage possible. We plan to do a basic, inexpensive van build conversion (see YouTube), for our basic shelter needs.

  Used vans have gone up considerably, with Kelley Blue Book price for a 6-year-old Toyota Sienna at 26k-30k (not including tax, title, Insurance tags, etc.) 

  Our goal is to get into a newer, reliable van to regain our mobility & independence, so that we are not continually breaking down, & having to rely on the generosity of others.

  Right now, we are without any means of transportation, & time is not our side. 

  Your generosity has lifted us in the past, & we are forever grateful for your unwavering support. 

  I am unable to do this alone & am reaching out for your support to be able to regain our mobility & independence so that I don't have to continually ask for assistance & rely on the generosity of others.
