Our ac unit made a weird noise 6/12 and the maintenance was called. No one has contacted me and it’s almost 80 degrees in the apartment. Yes I’ve left voicemails on the “emergency” line and still no one has contacted me. I’ve made tickets and they were instantly closed. I even sent an email and plus I have proof of the noise. The unit was completely hot, fan stalled and it even sparked. We were scared of a possible fire because of the spark. I have four young children( one special needs) and we are on a fixed income. We can’t afford to go to a hotel during this time so we have all the doors closed with fans running to stay cool. I fear the landlord is going to make us pay for the ac unit to be fixed and hold us responsible. We still have other bills to pay with this happening it’s been a rough week. From our fridge going out to this. We really need help and anything that can help. I only asked for what is needed to pay for the unit to be fixed and help with the bills.
