Feeding America
Working in food, it’s tough to watch so many people lose access to SNAP this month—especially as we head into a season of plenty. It’s been sitting heavy with me.
So I’m focusing on what I can do.
I’ve set up a donation link to Feeding America, and I’m personally matching contributions up to $700 by Nov 17th. Not because that’s pocket change (not at all lol), but because some neighbors need it more than I need to save it “just in case.” For too many (+40M in the US), the rainy day is every day.
I know how powerful it is to see people in your own community take action (why I’m blasting this). It reminds us that doing something now matters more than researching the “perfect” plan later.
TL;DR: Please donate and/or share (whether this org or literally any other one). My CTA is do SOMETHING.
And because many in my network are in the CPG world, if you can donate product that would otherwise be thrown away, please do!! Or offer to drop off your coworkers’ non-perishables to a food bank (I could go on with all the ways you can donate money/time/attention).
Thank y’all <3
Note: I set up this donation link so that I can keep track of what amount has been donated so I can match it on Nov 17th 2025. All of the money that goes through this donation link will be donated to this Feeding America, plus my match. I will upload proof of donation to my LinkedIn where this donation link is being advertised (either as a comment or repost of the original post).
