Feral Cat Vet Visits
Seven feral cats showed up in late September which has begun a 6-week journey of getting them spayed/neutered and re-homed. My intention was to take them to the ASPCA. They, and the many organizations I've called all around my area, have refused to take them or help in any way.
Unfortunately, due to my living situation, I cannot keep them. Also, I have an elderly feral outside already (who lost her Mama last year) who has stayed away because she is scared by so many cats. Thankfully, she is coming around now that theses kittens have been sheltered and can't roam free.
I was finally able to find one organization that would help with the fees for spaying/neutering; however, they only reimburse $50 for males and $90 for females. Each cat averaged about $200, and I spent around anther $200 for food, litter, transportation, and a cage. The total vet bill is $1059.18, after reimbursement it will be $729.18. I have added an extra $200 for my other expenses.
Thank you for reading this, and please consider a small donation to help me. God Bless You!
