Hello, my name is Megan. I'm 31 and struggling to catch up. About a year ago, my husband became disabled, and we're currently in the process of hopefully receiving something for that, but it has been hard in the meantime. When it first happened, I was unemployed, and he took care of everything financially. So while I was finding work, we fell behind on everything. Right now, I'm working 40+ hrs a week making $14. This is keeping us afloat but doesn't touch what we owe. We're $3,000 behind on electric and $2,500 in rent. We're worried every day if we're gonna have a place to live or our electricity getting shut off, and pray for more patience from our landlords.
