Final Expenses for Billy
Dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for emergency financial help for Billy Hufstetler.
Billy was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis with a JAK2 gene mutation, a rare bone marrow disorder. Sadly, this has recently progressed into Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). His medical team has exhausted all treatment options, and the treatments are no longer working. Billy is now unable to eat, and his doctors have given him just 2 to 3 weeks to live.
As Billy prepares for his final journey, his loved ones are facing an immediate financial crisis. Billy has no savings, no life insurance, and no assets to cover the cost of his final expenses.
How the Funds Will Be Used:
We are planning a simple, dignified direct cremation through Leaf Cremation. The family has secured a $600 voucher to help lower the overall cost, leaving an urgent final balance of exactly $995 required by the crematory.
Because I am helping the family navigate this as a supportive third party, I am managing this fundraiser on their behalf. 100% of the funds raised here will be paid directly from this account to Leaf Cremation to satisfy the invoice. No cash is going to the family, and no funds are being kept by me.
Leaf Cremation requires payment in full before services can be completed. Every single dollar raised here will go directly toward reducing that balance. If we do not reach the full $995 goal, the family will attempt to pull together the remaining difference from family members to cover the gap.
Please consider donating whatever you can—even $5 or $10 helps us close this gap for Billy. If you cannot donate, please share this link to help us reach our goal before he passes.
Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
