I’m starting this fundraiser for myself after losing my beloved cat, Thor. What began as an emergency trip to the animal hospital turned into one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever been through. After blood testing, I was told that Thor’s kidneys were in stage 4 failure. The hospital tried everything they could over a little more than 24 hours, including IV fluids, nausea medicine, and an appetite stimulant. When they repeated his bloodwork, there had been no improvement, and the veterinarian told me his kidneys weretoo far gone. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let Thor go, and he was peacefully put to sleep. Cremation costs were also added to the total bill.

Right now, I’m asking for help covering Thor’s final veterinary expenses, including the emergency hospital care, euthanasia, and cremation. A family member was kind enough to put these charges on their credit for me, and I’m trying to pay them back. I know some people may say he was “just a cat,” but Thor meant so much to me and losing him has been devastating. Any support, no matter the size, would help me repay the family member who stepped in and made sure Thor received the care he needed at the end.
