My name is Clifford "CJ" Jones. I'm creating this crowdfunding campaign because I'm currently going through a very difficult financial hardship.

I lost my job and I'm behind two months of rent. My bank account is currently -1600. My car is scheduled to get repossessed and get auctioned because my lienholder made a mistake with my account and I can't fight it at the current moment because of lack of resources. I purchased my car in 2015 with a loan of $29,000. I currently only owe $10,000 and don't want to lose my vehicle. This situation has really humbled me and this is my last resort. Possessing an internal locus of control has tremendously played a huge role for me during this hardship. This was by far my most challenging semester in my college career. Every ounce of me persevered and focused at the task at hand even with a ton of uncertainty in my personal life. Even though this is a difficult situation I have and will continue to be positive, faithful and optimistic. 

I'm a volunteer leader for Chicago Cares. I'm a mentor for student at my grammar school and high school. I have a 3.82gpa. I'll be transferring to the very prestigious Northwestern University(student loans here I come) this upcoming fall. I'm a member of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business, I'm in the top 10% of my graduating class, and I'm a member of my school's student advisory board for the college of business. 

I'm the "one who has to make it" if you will for my family and I need an angel or angels for this situation so I can focus on paying for Northwestern University this upcoming fall. I'm working to put myself in position where I'm able to be an investor or bank for my community, 16 immediate cousins and 5 sisters (I'm the only boy). I also have a nephew. If they have great ideas, ambition, and a great work ethic I want to be able to invest in them and give them hope. I don't want them to have to depend solely on external sources. 

So I graciously ask for any help during this time. I'll pay back every dime with character, impacting countless lives, volunteering, integrity, mentorship, leadership, gratitude etc. 

My birthday is May 6, 2019.
