Finding my way home
At 43 I didn't think I would be here, but here I am. I had pictured my life in a totally different light, more rose colored it would seem,in hindsight. The dream of a home on a fair amount of property, 2 cars, date nights, girls nights, children growing and thriving and then grandchildren following in like fashion. Ahh,the "American dream"...well at least what I had been raised to envision for myself and to strive for as a southern woman. Life has a funny way of putting you where it wants you to be, not where you thought you would be or wanted to be. Now,I have a more realistic hope for what my future has in store. I am disabled,my children aren't in my life,my family is now all gone,I have no siblings and few friends. Living and trying to thrive on less than $1300 a month was difficult, now it's almost impossible. I have a rent to own shed that I'm making the payments on and have a fair amount of tools, common sense, a decent learning ability and just enough fight left in me to do this shed to house conversion. What I unfortunately am lacking,is the funds in which to do so. My house is 12x28,I live with my 3 girls,my dogs, who are my family. I am trying to get the money to finish out my shed on the inside. I need to get the outdoor electric setup, the water ran,and just about everything done on the inside to make it a proper home.
