Fisher Family

After a bad motorcycle accident, Michael had to go to the ER for treatment. Due to the hospital not being equipped fully to handle his possible/anticipated injuries, he had to be transported via ambulance to another hospital over 20 miles away. The ambulance ride was expensive and charged to Michael. He had a stay in the hospital, and discovered that his insurance for the motorcycle did not provide for medical insurance for the driver of the vehicle/motorcycle. This means that the expense of medical bills is his, even though he had the proper motorcycle insurance. This included all meds that were "provided" for his discharge. Add to this, the difficult pregnancy of his daughter (in it's final days), and the expenses have piled up. The family needs some assistance with keeping their residence, basic utilities, their auto transportation, and food. (Note: even standard vehicular insurance does not provide medical bills for the driver of the auto, unless purchased separately. All of this has added up quickly, and is still adding up.
