Recently, Jerry, an elderly music teacher and a close family friend was mistreated by the world. He was robbed of his life savings of around $15,000. One man knocked on his door and offered to fix his roof and while he distracted Jerry with discussion of the repairs an accomplice went into his house and robbed him of his cash and valuables. This might not seem like a lot of money, but I calculate it to be around two years of music lessons. This is an incredibly good man who has had his good, trusting nature taken advantage of.
