Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to ask for your support as I embark on a challenging yet rewarding journey. On Sunday, November 3rd, I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon (26.2 miles) in honor of my dear Aunt, who is courageously battling late-stage cancer.* Apropos to this particular race, she was born and raised in Brooklyn with a New York fighting spirit that she continues to lean on. 

This iconic marathon, with over 50,000 runners and 2 million spectators, will not only be a personal milestone as my first stand-alone marathon but also an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for a cause that deeply affects me. I'm committed to matching the first $260.20 raised, symbolizing $10.00 per mile.

Your generous donation will help alleviate the financial burden my Aunt and her immediate family face during her fight against cancer.
