FMLA Termination
Hello, my name is Jai and I am a single unemployed mom of one. I had been put on FMLA for unexplained medical issues in September 2025.
Unfortunately, over a two month period I have had numerous exams and still no diagnosis. My doctor would not allow me to return to work. My employer fired me in November 2025. I have exhausted my FMLA, my unemployment and I have had to apply for help from social services. Which does not cover the cost of my past medical bill, my household expenses. I’m at my wits in, I did consult with a lawyer, waiting for that. I’m not a lazy person nor a person who looks for hand outs. I’m a lil embarrassed I am in this situation. I pray someone would understand my situation. Thank you for letting me share my story.
