Food Trailer Funding Need

My husband has a goal to open his own business. He has worked as a baker and in food service his whole life. Over two years ago he decided to take a leap of faith to open his own Southern Style Food trailer at the age of 71. Mr. Lee's Tasty Southern Food will become a reality. Lee says failure is not an option! He doesn't have 401K, Inheritance, Huge Savings Account or anything close to those types of finances. He is working part time in food service and we are of course getting Social Security. I am his wife and I work part time also. He has no idea that I have set up this crowd funding fundraiser to help him reach his goals. He took out a loan to purchase a used food trailer. He has been making $400 monthly payments for 2 years now and is about half way to paying it off. Many things have been done and more still needs done before final food health inspection can be passed. So far he has spent over $3,500 on stove, refrigerator, propane lines and hook up for stove, generator, tow bar and trailer lights on my 2005 pickup that will tow the trailer back and forth from storage to vending sites. The vinyl logos put on the trailer ran $800 for graphic design and the logos produced and applied. He also pays $50 per month for the storage lot for the trailer. Still needs a vent hood with fire suppression equipment. The current hood is not the correct type and does not have fire suppression vents. Estimates are between $4500-$5000 for equipment and install. Needs another generator as the electrical is set up with 2 extension cords. Each run half of the trailer electric and so you need 2 generators to plug into. There is another $400-$50O. The annual permit fee is about $475. He still needs a commercial size air fryer and warmer for keeping fried chicken warm. Probably $200 or more for those. Will also need supplies and food for initial first few weeks of business. Lee has cashed in 2 Whole Life insurance policies and took loan against the savings in another one. Lee is determined to get the food trailer opened this year. What savings we have had and tax return refunds are all going towards this venture. Friends, Family and Co-Workers all love Lee's food. Please help him reach his goals to serve Lincoln, Nebraska the best tasting Arkansas inspired Southern Style Food!!
