Support for 12 Kids After Family Tragedy

I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. After my cousin passed away from congestive heart failure and pneumonia at just 35 years old, I took in her seven children, ages 4 to 14. She was a single parent, unable to work due to her illness, and the kids had already lost their grandmother just five months before. Now, as a single parent myself with five children of my own, I am doing everything I can to care for all twelve kids under one roof. We are still waiting for custody to be sorted out, so I don’t receive any financial support or benefits for my nieces and nephews.

The grief and loss these children are experiencing is overwhelming, and I am doing my best to provide stability, love, and comfort for them and my own kids. I am looking for a job and searching for resources, but it’s hard to make ends meet. The funds from this fundraiser will help us with groceries, household items, hygiene products, and school clothes—basic necessities that are so important for the kids right now.
