For Julie & Darren Turney
Hello all!
Darren and Julie could use our help. In the beginning of October, Julie rushed Darren to the emergency room resulting in him being admitted to the hospital for several health complications. After being discharged, he went back to work for a few weeks before suffering a stroke while at home. A few days later, he was rushed to the emergency room after visiting the walk-in clinic because he was suffering from slurred speech and struggling to walk.
After running multiple tests, a CT Scan, and an MRI, his medical team concluded that the best option for his recovery is to undergo 2-3 weeks of in-patient rehabilitation. Obviously, Darren will be unable to work for the 2-3 weeks he's in the hospital and we are unsure when he will be cleared to head back to work.
Unfortunately, when life throws us a curve ball, bills still come to our door, including a mortgage, groceries, and multiple other payments. Julie has continued to work her part-time administrative assistant job while caring for Darren. This is not enough to cover their average monthly expenses.
Those who know Darren and Julie are aware of the kindness they exhibit to others. Their kindness knows no bounds as they offer their time, energy, and resources to others continuously. Now it's time for us to gift that kindness back.
We understand that funds are tight for many right now, but any amount you are able to give is more than appreciated and will be used to help Julie stay caught up on bills while Darren is unable to work.
Julie and Darren appreciate any and all support as they navigate an unexpected situation.
