Our Mom - Evonne Florence Bettiga was an amazing, strong, and loving mother to all of Us, her children and a lasting presence to everyone she met. She was known for opening her heart and home to all of our childhood friends and she became a mom to all who needed one. Although she had no siblings, she surrounded herself with incredible women who became true sisters to her. She had a way of finding a special place in everyone's heart that crossed paths with her. One of those women is my "Aunt" Mary. My own words cannot fully capture how deeply we loved my mom so instead I want to share a beautiful message from her. It speaks the words from my heart and gives a tiny glimpse into how special my Mom was and will Always be.

"No words can explain my sorrow I feel for you. I am not sorrowful for your Mom because she finally made it home, she has no pain, she is with her angels and God. She was amazing while here on Earth. She was so very informed and well read. She shared her deep understanding with all those she loved. She was a woman of great strength and endurance. She loved with all of her Lioness heart. She gave knowledge and empathy. She never held back. She fought hard to find and give a sense of security and love to her loved ones. In many ways we were pioneers of the coming New Age. We predicted and understood where we had been and where we were going. We learned to trust our intuition and visions and to share it. Evonne was a spiritual wonderer and a guide for all that would hear her. She was never afraid and she learned to let go when it was time to. She read her surroundings and her people. She was a great listener and would radiate a love and understanding without hesitation. She will continue to listen to you and guide from the otherside. You will feel her presence. There will be no end to her and her spirit. She is now reviewing her life while here. Reviewing and learning even more of the reasons she was born into this life. It was all of her lessons she needed here to move onward. She will always be with you, no doubt, you all carry her wonderful cellular and spirituality of her DNA in the very fiber of your being. She continues to guide your growth while here."

My mom cared for all of you deeply, just like family. I know she will keep looking after us all through good and bad times, and she is right there for you, too. She was an absolute warrior in the face of cancer and Parkinson's and never gave up. She was truly my inspiration and she taught me so much right till the end. She was the BEST mom and forever my best friend.
