There are no words to describe how heartbroken we are.

On the 4th of July, we brought home the sweetest little puppy, excited to give her a life full of love. Just four days later, on July 8th, she became gravely ill and was diagnosed with parvovirus. We rushed her to the emergency veterinarian in Las Vegas, where she fought so hard for several days. Despite every effort to save her, we had to say goodbye to our precious little girl on the morning of July 12th.

Our hearts are shattered. We only had eight short days with her, and half of those days were spent in the hospital, but she had already become part of our family, and the silence she has left behind is overwhelming.

We're sharing this because if our heartbreak can help save even one puppy, then her life will continue to make a difference. Please, if you have a puppy that is not yet fully vaccinated—or if you've recently adopted one—be extra careful. Parvovirus is devastating and incredibly contagious. Watch closely for signs like vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or loss of appetite, and don't hesitate to seek veterinary care immediately if something doesn't seem right.

Many have asked if there's anything they can do to help. The emergency hospitalization and treatment to try to save our sweet girl came with significant veterinary expenses.
