My name is Colby I live with my fiancee Caryn and my grandmother in an in law apartment.  My grandmother is 85 years old and has the early stages of Alzheimer's. About 30 years ago she signed her house over to her son and his family. Things were ok for almost 30 years about 2 years ago my aunt, who is now the owner of the house due to the death of her husband my grandmother's son, when at that time my aunt somehow convinced my grandmother to sign something making my grandmother now part of the loan on the house once again. About a year later my aunt stopped paying her mortgage and did not tell my grandmother nor did she tell my grandmother that she was responsible for a very large mortgage payment. Now here we are a year later and the home is being foreclosed on. We moved back in about 6 months ago to help my grandmother. I was recently let go from my job in aerospace, my fiancee works but only enough to keep us above water, putting away money is almost impossible. I am trying to raise this money to get us into a new apartment and to help my grandmother get into some sort of senior living as she lives on fixed income, she could afford to live there but not to get in initially. If enough money is raised, we wouldn't have to leave the house we are currently in where my grandmother has spent the last 30 years of her life in and could easily take over payments.
