A few years ago, I lost my home and even with the appropriate income, I kept getting denied for housing. Forcing me to stay with my parents. 2 years later my father passed away, and I gave up the little amount of money I saved up to contribute to funeral costs. One month later I lost my job and haven't been able to find a job since. I am a single mother who's been faced with grief on top of grief. It's been a year since I lost my father and my job as a pharmacy technician (working on my certification).I can't address my emotions regarding his passing because I have to save face for my children and focus on how to get income.

For the past 3 months, I was driving for Uber, using a rental car through Uber/Hertz rideshare program and I found out Hertz stole $423 from me, which maxed out my credit card and sent it over its limit. This severely hurt my credit and forced me to return the car. Now back at square one: jobless.

My mother decided to undermine my authority over my children, by giving my child dairy. My children and I do not consume dairy due to the allergic reaction we will experience. She minimized the seriousness of the situation and didn't want to take accountability, or apologize. She caught an attitude and took an ego trip and told me to leave her home in 30 days.

So I have 2 weeks left to find a home for my children and I with no income, money, or transportation.

I do have someone willing to open their home to me and my children once I am able to secure funds to contribute to monthly costs. I need this money to help secure my spot in that person's home, and it could give me the ability to secure another car rental from a different rental company to continue driving for Uber. I just need a boost and these funds will do just that.
