Freeman's NICU Donation
Hello Family and Friends,
147 seems like it should be a prime number. It's full of edges and inelegance and who'd ever think to divide 147 by anything other than itself?
805 is a rounder number. It's bigger and stronger and seems self-sufficient.
But, ya know, appearances can be deceiving. When 805 is followed by grams in the context of a baby's weight, it seems very small, not even warranting a prefix like kilo. And 147, when it is applied to days - especially days in a hospital - the number seems endless and indivisible.
Freeman came into this world at 805 grams and spent his first 147 days in a hospital defying the numbers to make sure he'd be here to settle his own scores.
And so it is that the man of 4 names - Freeman Leon Samuels Singer - is still here and you can use whatever numbers you want to celebrate that, whether it's a 365, 52, 1, or even 3, the magic number of our little family.
So, please, if you can, commemorate Freeman making it 584,000,000 miles around the sun by contributing to our fundraiser for the Georgetown NICU and the countless nurses, doctors, and staff who supported Freeman in defying the odds to make it here today.
Love,
Freeman, Jonas, and Sarah
